My site is loading extremely slow

Hello,

I love this template, but it is taking 15-25 seconds to load each page. I am using feedgator and I have a few feeds pulling into the site, I also have about 33,000 articles. The domain name is www.LibertarianPost.org.

Can you help me get the site to load faster or provide any pointers? It is on a great server that should be plenty fast to handle this.

Hi,

Try installing a quickstart package of the template separately on the same server to compare the speeds to make sure that the problem doesn't come from the server, also the template.

In order to make the site load faster you may do these:

- Enable system cache, and cache mode of all modules that support cache.

- Combine all css files into 1, and all js files into 1, by using CSS and JS Optimization mode of the template.

- Move all media files like images to a CDN server like Google Storage or Amazon..

Thanks for getting back to me.

It is definately not the server, there are other sites on there as well as the dev site for this project which are working fine.

JS Optimization mode of the template - Is there any documentation on this? Or documentation on how to combine all CSS sheets?

Are there any CDN's that work with Joomla?
