How to assign teo modules on main page only

Hello, I need your help,


I have a website with Publisher template. When worked on it, I disabled News Show Pro GK4 and Image Show GK 4. Before the launch, I enabled them. I want them to appear only on the main page.

But it seems that they are shown sporadically on several pages I can't understand the reason.

First, the option of assignment in both modules menu - "only on pages selected", where I tick Main page - does not work at all.

I use "on all pages except those selected" - and again modules appear on some articles and don't appear on other.

I searched this forum for the problem and disabled "magic quotes" - it does not help.

What might be the reason of the problem?

Depending on your home item component this might happen sometimes. To advise further we need to check your website admin panel settings.

Alternatively following is what you can do;

1. You can use advanced module manager free edition to limit those modules to home menu item only.
2. Use page suffix feature in template settings > features, to display them in homepage and hide them in other pages via css code.
