Author latest and item related

i want to make those two boxes as like two coloumns in "World News 2" template in k2 format. I want them stand together. But i can not succeed it so. Can you help me?

look at this. news item on position banner mainbody top is very big. I can add another module right side of this. Thus it will become much smaller and also i can use another module too. How can i add another module position or how can i divide banner mainbody top module position into 2.

Please try add to override.css
