General Setup

Can you give me some pointers for customizing the site... I've printed out the widget areas sheet and some other information but its still quite confusing and I don't know where to start.

When I installed the theme none of the demo info came in so I'm starting from scratch.

Did you tried to install the quickstart package? Then you should have reproduced our demo page

I've tried but can't get that zipped file to install... it gives an error. I've downloaded a few times but same result.

I even tried a WordPress "reset" plugin.

Did you read the linked article? The Quickstart package is a WordPress installation package so you cannot upload it in other wordpress installation.

Well, it took a while to figure that out... but I finally got it working with the demo content.
