is it safe to update to 3.5 WP?

Would it be safe to update wordpress to 3.5 without a theme update?

And whenever you come with a update, will it revert all my changed settings to start?

Also if I update and I have changed a few settings in template.css, would they revert back to original? ( I have changed header_bg min-height as there is no idea in having that at 760px - maybe you should add that as a setting instead? )

In general there shouldn't be a problem after updating to WP 3.5, because it should reset any settings. But of course please make an backup of the files and db before. In general the main difference is lack of the "Links" manager in the back-end, so if you're using it then it can be lost. Additionally at monday we will release an update of the theme with small adjustments for the back-end interface in WP 3.5 (it's only the CSS adjustments).

"because it shouldn't reset any settings" My mistake. But remember to make a full backup, because the upgrade process can always reset something or even destroy.
