Sure. Perhaps Im not using the right module to get the sliding images going on that page?
Heres the situation: I have the section of the site called "other" (the link provided above).
I have put a K2 item there right now to give you an idea. However, I would like to have
images moving as a slideshow, with linked pagination. So, instead of just a K2 item, I wanted to
put a module there. I chose one called "Photography news show" - it's a "mod_news_pro_gk4 " module.
I specified mainbody as location, and chose "portal mode - news slide show" in hopes of seeing the same
thing as the present K2 item, but animated with image change. However its not showing up so far... Thanks!

Hi

You can use NSP as a slider, no problem. But I think You did that already. Please take a look at the screenshot.

If You want to set it in mainbody, than try maby with mainboty_top or mainbody_bottom positions, because mainbody may not display modules when component is already in use.

Please try that and let me know if I'm evn close to solution of this. I'm still not sure if I got it right.

Putting it in the mainbody-top solved the problem. In conclusion, is it possible to have the images fade into one another instead of shifting sideways? Many thanks!

I used the module in question (here: http://sapegin.server308.com/index.php/other), but after playing with the "module style" setting, I seem to have lost the simple way it was at first... now the images have a big space on the bottom and so on. Sorry, what was that normal "module style" setting in the beginning? Thanks

Also, my August-September module seems to slide images erratically. Could you suggest a setting so it slides pics in an orderly manner, one after another with equal intervals, the first after the last? Thanks.

Hi

For sure it's using too big values at speed settings for animation. Please send me an access to joomal panel so I'll be able to reconfigure it.

Hi

You have forgot to attach settings, but It would be better to let me play with settings from joomla panel. I will be able to check what result I got.

About #2 I do not know about which module are You talking about. I see no module with a big space below. Please help me.

Thanks you so much. If you take a look here (http://sapegin.server308.com/index.php/other), you will see the module in question (Slideshow). Its right at the top of the page, really messed up. I attached the password for admin in the last email. Thanks!

Hi

I do not see a mail with an access. It's possible that You have forgot to add a link to this thread so even if I have it I cannot connect it with Your question.

About slider with space. Are You talking about the one covered with warrnigs ? :) When I got Your access I'll fix this too.

How can I send you the login info confidentially? .txt attachments are refused, and the jpg is displayed for everyone to see.

Hi

It was a configuration issue.

Firstly You have selected K2 articles as source but didn't select any article to link to.

Secondly a CSS for this style was disabled in advanced. This can be disabled only if You create Your own CSS code, but there was none so it's better to use the one that was brought along with module.
