Confused

I am seriously confused. I have read all the documentation and all of the posts on the forum yet I think I must have this wrong somehow.

I want to show multiple "blocks" of content on the main category pages for k2, however, when someone clicks on the information I want the drill down content page to be bigger. The only way I can see to make this happen is to add a rule in the template config for each seperate k2 item...? Is this the only way? I want this to be the general way the site works.

I have even tried using the override method and it does not seem to be working either. I have the general layout set to 1 and the content specific item id set to 3 and they are both the same size from the frontend???

In general I recommend to try set the rule following:

com_k2 - value for the all items
item ID of the category pages - value for the category page.

Not sure how I missed that? Is there a way to specify by the k2 category?

As I wrote earlier - when you set the category item ID as a first item and then you specify the value for all items on com_k2 then it should on the K2 category use value for the category and for all other items value set for com_k2.

Sorry, yes, I wasn't clear with my question.

If you will have problem with achieve it using my settings suggestion then please write about it - maybe it will need small changes in the framework code.
