Last prouct in category view page breaking

Hello,

On some categories the last product with be alone on a new row. Problem is it does not happen on all categoriy sites. Could perhaps someone help me with advice what could be the problem:

Please check if there is no unpublished products on the list (or trashed). I can see that product counter has found remaining products for the breaking row is just not showing them. If there is no such products please send me an access to FTP.

I have found the problem. If there is a underlying category, published or unpublished, the problem occurs.

I could fix a few of the categories by deleting unnecessary categories but some problems remains.

Please send me an access to ftp. I'll remove the "row" layer from this view so the category will not matter any more.

Is it not better that you fix it in the template or tell me how to fix. Otherwise I dont know how to do if it comes back in the future.

I will explain what have I done when I finish. All I know right now is that I need to modifie file /html/com_virtuemart/category/default/.php
I need to remove <div class="row"></div> from there, but it's not as easy as it sounds. It will be a try and error with this problem.

Last step will be to add a layout fix to css. Just a couple of line, but again I do not know what code will be needed without having "row" layer removed first.

Well, of course I trust you but I like to wait for a fix of the template instead. It does not bother me much any longer since it only affects just a few categories.

There will be no fix for this if I will not find a solution and passed it to programmers I'm afraid. Programmers doesn't have an example of an installation which has the same problem. This is why I was hoping for Your access to resolve it.

I have just thought about one thing. Please try rename /html/com_virtuemart/category/default.php to /html/com_virtuemart/category/_default.php if probelm will persists than this may mean that problem is in VM functions and You can ask VM support for a fix for this.

Okay I will try that a little later and let you know if it remains the same.

I understand the situation and dont want to be rude, I just dont want a fix in the template which I need to remember when I update next time.

No no, You misunderstood. When I'll figure out what the problem is I'll pass this fix and information to programmers and they will implement it in the official template packages. The only problem is an environment to work. I need an access to Your website since I know that the problem visualise there. I do not have that in my copy of this quickstart.

Anyway, I will do that test later this weekend and let you know, if it is virtuemart related, then no need for you to look into it.

If I rename the file the problem will not arise. But I would now assume the problem come from my own modification showing discount on category pages.

Actually it is not my mod that cause the problem. I changed to standard default.php but the problem remain the same. Also turn off override.css does not fix it. Are you sure you can not reproduce this problem?

Positive. If I knew what is causing it than I would be able to break it on my copy, but if we know what is causing it than there will be no problem. Right ? I remember making a workaround for this already for a different user, but I cannot find the thread Ok. So I'm waiting for Your decision. You may make me an Akeepa Backup file, so I'll work with this on my computer so no ftp will be needed.

Lets see what happens after upgrades to VM 3.0 and Joomla 3.3. If it consists I will let you check my site.

Ok. I believe just in couple more days our products will be adjusted to this version. I know programmers are working on it already. So You will be able to update it than.
