Currency symbol problem

Got a problem with the prices being displayed. I've set every option in Virtuemart to use UK pricing and even unpublished all other countries and currencies. However, in the front and back ends of the site, the prices are still showing with the Euro symbol after the amount rather than the Pound Sterling symbol before the value!

It looks like your currency is not set properly in VM settings. Did you try to add new product and check what is the currency for new added items?

Did you resolve this? You have 2 sections where you need to change the currency, then simply set the currency of the product when creating/editing.
