Safe to upgrade to VM 2.6.0 ?

I just want to check out if it is safe to upgrade VM to latest version, or will there be an update for Bikestore for that VM version? Thanks.

We are working on the VM 2.6 upgrade - I hope that it will be released tommorow or on Friday.

Is the update from 15.04.14 is compatible with VM 2.6? I have a lot of customization in the Cart and css - are they affected upgarding to VM 2.6 compatible version or I can use the old ones?

The update from 15.04.14 was prepared for VM 2.6. If you don't see any problems you can avoid installing the upgrade - as I know there was no big changes in the view. But if there are a problems, then you should merge the new VM files with your files and apply the changes.

I will try the upgrade to VM 2.6 because I have issues with customer registrations. I am using the VM registration form but when the customer receives the registration details with link for activation nothing happens because the activation of the account should be done by the admin. This is good but the admin doesn't receive email with link to approve the customer, and if this is done by the Joomla User administration the customer doesn't receive email that he was approved. I hope that VM 2.6 has taken care about this issue because there were talks about this on their forum.
