K2 in the global url address

For some reason all global urls in the site are going through K2 even they are from Virtumart but still the opened pages are correct.

At example;
http://sitename/index.php/k2-comments/k ... ter-lights
or
http://sitename/index.php/k2-users/brea ... ofessional

The first ink is Virtumeart porduct link, the second is Joomla article

This reflects in incorrect image address, too, despite that the images are correctly uploaded on the server. The home page of the administrator also shows K2 pages, not Joomla.

Any help.

It may be cause by wrong working URL rewrite rules. Please try to disable mod_rewrite in global Joomla! configuration, remove cache and check your site - this should resolve your problem.

I already did this, but when I restore mod_rewrite K2 is back again (the cash is cleared).

So probably your SEF URL's are not working fine but to make sure please test the same with Beez.

With Beez everything is fine with SEF URLs. This is strange that I can not find any refrence to K2 menus in the database nor in the site files but still K2 is poping up in SEF URL. I stoped all K2 application except K2 system plugin because without this Image Show doesn't work at all, but even with K2 plugin stopped, the probem with SEF URL remains.

The URL are generated based on your menu structure, so the item root/child/child/item and only this can determine the URL. SEF URL with Beez template should be the same on our template and on Beez because template just can't overwrite this elements.

What in the menu structure could cause this? I have not inculded anything related to K2 there.

Could you make a screenshot of your menu from back-end?

Here is attached the Control panel of Joomla. K2 component and plugins are disabled.

I mean the menu structure on backend so in Menus » Active menu

If you like you can log into the site. A screen shot at this resolution is unreadable.

I've asked about this screenshot because for sure the part of URL comes from menu configuration. Joomla! use menu alias instead of menu name so please review your aliases. If this not help please just create new menu and add one item there, we will see how looks URL with this new menu.
