Parent/Child relations not displaying

I setup a sample product and assigned it child products. The child products do not display on the product details flypage, please advise.

Does it work correctly on default Beeze template?

They do not show up with with any other templates but my products with custom fields do show that information so perhaps there is something else with this template that overrides the core display of product information.

Ok I solved the issue by adding "Automatic Child Variant" to the Custom Fields. Do you know how I can have this displayed not using a drop-down?

Those elements are generated with k2 - perhaps finding a k2 plugin that allows to change the element from dropdown to any other might work. The best solution would be to ask on k2 forum.
