Good morning,

I am writing to ask you for the information.
I've problems with the site published in multiple languages ( http://www.insegnealed.com ).
The settings made are taken from the manual joomla and from forum dedicated to the theme.
I installed the languages contained both IT and UK.
I created the menu for each language with dedicated default home and with the various items both (IT) and (UK).
I also created a default menu adapted to all languages and made public and default.
I enabled the module "Language switcher".
I enabled the plugin System - Language code and System language filter.
I duplicated the default template gk_bikestore Default in gk_bikestore -IT and gk_bikestore -UK, published by setting both the language and the menus especially created.
Unfortunately it does not work by clicking on the flags to change the language, back always to the home http://www.insegnealed.com/it/ .
I don't understand where the problem lies, you have any suggestions or solutions to propose to me?
Another problem lies in the template block Lang, it seems that it isn't active, and the language switcher module, positioned in the block search, displays the flags not aligned, and hide a part of the search bar.
Thank you for your availability.

Best regards

Hi

Problem solved. ARTIO JoomSEF has provided it's own plugin for language change. I've enabled it, disabled default one and it's working now.

Hi

I got a mail from You. I'll try to explain.

To have language switcher working You need to have a plugin enabled. But as You are using ARTIO JoomSEF than they have their own plugin for that. Which means:

- if You are using "ARTIO JoomSEF" ENABLE "System Language - ARTIO JoomSEF" and DISABLE "System - Language Filter"
- if You are NOT using "ARTIO JoomSEF" DISABLE "System Language - ARTIO JoomSEF" and ENABLE "System - Language Filter"

Below is how this plugins are managed right now:
