stock control is not working

Hi ...

GK Bikestore 3.5.1 (quite customized)
Virtuemart 2.020b (going to update to 2.024 because of the security update in 2.022c)

... right now I have the issue that stock control is not working anymore. It´s set to not display the product when it reaches "0" ... but the product is displaying and can be ordered. Actually, none of the settings is working as it´s supposed to ... the notify and availability are not working either.

virtuemart forum pointed me to it being a gavick issue.

is there a quick fix known ? hessitant to update the template and re-build it

We are working on updating templates, but to 2.024 version not 2.022b-c versions. Release will be connected with updates due to Joomla3.x branch update that is planned to come out in next few days.

so no fix for stock control not working ?

Right now no, I would suggest to revert back to 2.0.22 (not 2.0.22b nor 2.0.22c). It has 100% support right now.
