When a product is added to the cart and the cart is clicked on in the right top corner, there should be a pop up with the cart details. Instead the pop up is showing the homepage.

How can I fix this? You can check on http://www.waterpijp-bong.nl

Versions I use:
Virtuemart: 2.0.24
Joomla: 2.5.14
PHP: 5.3.27

Hi

I think this can be related with changing the name of template. Please send me also an FTP access so I'll check where in javascript values needs to be changed as well.

I PM'ed you the FTP login details.

I thought about renaming the template caused the issue, but after changing it, it did work. But maybe it was because of old cache files.

Hi

I have found a reason. I've dug through a lot of code and the problem is trivial :) There is no homepage for VM so cart is trying to use the page it was clicked on. Please try define a front-page for virtuemart and this issue should be fixed.

How do I set this FrontPage for VM?
I thought I needed to add a menu item to this VM FrontPage. But that seems not to be enough.

Hi

The easiest is to create a new menu. You can call it "Dummy menu", becuase it will not be used anywhere it's just to fix this problem. Than Please add a new menu item with a type of Virtuemart Frontpage (or Home as I think it's called in new version). That's all. With this new element all fuctional pages will be opened with this page id so if You want some modules shown with for example cart checkout You can attach it to this page.

Thanks for the answer, but still don't understand, or I can't get it to work... :-(

I created a dummy menu with a VM FrontPage menu item. But still the pop-up shows the FrontPage, instead the cart details.

Can you please help? You can login at the backend with the login details I provided earliers in the PM.

Hi

Problem is we still do not have a solution. We have checked 4 theories of such behaviour already unfortunately none of them was correct. I'll let You know as soon as we will figure out what is the problem.

That's a pity, but thanks for your reply.
I tried to remember since when this behaviour starts occuring, but I really don't know. Cyberek noticed it couple of weeks ago, when checking something else. I didn't noticed it myself before. I don't know if I installed or change someting then.

Hi

Thanks to NormanUK this is finally fixed.

Issue was caused by Admin Tools Security Settings as below.
Components > Admin Tools > Security > Web Application Firewall > Configure WAF > Visual Fingerprinting Protection > List of allowed tmpl= keywords.

Added "cart" to above list.
