Hey there,

I am populating my virtuemart with new products that I would like to feature in the 'offers' module as well as the 'latest offers' module, both on the homepage of the template.
The images I load into the virtuemart of the products are big enough for the specific product pages about the item, however the thumbnails of the item for the modules show up just as large - therefore they do not resize down when uploaded.

How would I fix this issue?

Thank you,

Hi

Please show me Your site and point to the module You are talking about. Is an image size set in module settings ?

I am doing this site locally so I cannot actually show you the website (that I know of?)

However here is an image. This module is the Latest Offers module on the home page.
My thumbnails in this module are being cut off as they are too large.

These images are large images uploaded into Virtuemart as product images for product pages. However I don't understand why my thumbnails render so large?

Hi

Sorry but I need to see it on a live site, to be able to work on this with developer tools. Please ignore this problem for now and let me know when site will be online.

I finally figured this one out after playing around a bit with the plugin.
If you go to your thumbnails options in the back end of the module, and click 'off' on the option: create thumbnails, the plugin will take the thumbnails from virtuemart and stop cutting off your images.

Woot! :)

Hi

Yes that's the correct answer, but if images are big than it will affect site load time. Please try play with cussing image options. Try using aspect ratio maybe.
