Displaying a module in a new position?

Hello,

I would like to be able to display a module in the position illustrated (in a red box) in the attached screenshot on the Bikestore Joomla 2.5 template.

I want to make full use of the space on the right side of the menu below the search box.

Please can you tell me how I can set about achieving this?

This would make such a big difference to my site!
