I am having a problem displaying VirtueMart categories or articles. Every time we select an object it is going to the incorrect page and reporting a 404 error.

Using BikeStore template.

http://www.pelotonpost.com/shop/photos

The first page looks good and displays without problem, but as soon as you click an item or a menu, or a photo, it reports "404" errors. It seems it is not following links.

For example, if you click the menu "Photos", it does not go to the VirtueMart Category "Cycling Photos". It goes directly to the incorrect directory:
http://www.pelotonpost.com/shop/photos

It should go instead to the following directory:
http://www.pelotonpost.com/shop/index.p ... gory_id=12

Any ideas,

Thanks,

Gerardo

Hi

Looks like a sef problem. Please disable sef in glabal settings of joomla. If You are using any sef component please disable it as well.

Have You renamed htaccess.txt file to .htaccess ?

Hi

So I believe You need to rename the htaccess.txt file to .htaccess . This will allow Your site to use mod rewrite and You will be able to enable SEF links back.
