I just installed Bike store with the quick install. The FrontPage works fine.

But when I set the language to Dutch in the Languagemanager, the FrontPage shows me an error.

The module 'Latest offers' shows the error 'Error: No articles to display' and the scroller module above that also showing nothing.

Is there someting else I have to do, to make this working, or is it a bug?
I use the most recent version, joomla 2.5.11. Virtuemart coming with the installation pack isn't up to date, but if I update or not, it doens't affect the language set error.

I noticed it is caused by the fact that there are no default example products and categories when changing to Dutch.
Is it possible to change the Englisch products to Dutch?

Hi

This is connected with VM languages. Basicaly when You enter panel using different language than products are being added in this language only. The same is with NSP module. To be able to show products in Dutch You need to configure this module while accessed panel in Dutch language. Of course You will need a module instance for each language than.

Maybe offtopic now, it's a Virtuemart thing and not caused by the template, but if you have a webshop with 2 languages, you have to create all products (and categories, etc) for both language. But what about the stock level?

I create product X in Dutch and in Engelish. That are 2 products, but in fact it is just same product which is in stock. If there are 10 items on stock and those 10 are sold in the English version of the website, will be the stock level in Dutch then also be 0, just as in English?

Hi

I've checked how database for products looks like and languaged are only about categorie and products names. By default VM is creating tables with suffix "_en_gb" which means it's only this names which are affected by languages. So the problem is that if module is looking for categories and products starts from the one in selected language. So if there is no translations than it see 0 products, etc.
