Add module positions to bike_store

Dear Gavick team,

how do I add module positions to the existing bike-store template?
I cannot seem to find the right php-files.
My client is asking for tiles to be displayed among the page and thus I wanted to create new module positions in the mainbody so that I am able to display three colums, or two colums, or 2 and 1 column, etc.
Is there an easy fix?
