Last weekend ive updated everything to their latest versions (including plugins from rest files.)
Everything seems to work ok, except for the cache. Well it actually works ok but not on my configuration.

When i use the standard cart, the cart seems to work ok. My problem is, I work with rupostels one page checkout. With extended cache enabled, it also caches the checkoutpage.

Same problem occurs when I use the minicart in another position (sidebar without the popup) with extended cache on, it gets cached in sidebar an thus wont update amount and articles. In the "cart" position it seems to work ok.

What can I do to get extended cache working with both my sidebar minicart and the checkout processed by rupostels opc. Because with extended cache on, the site functions a LOT faster.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Unfortunately we had this problem before and programmers has excluded cart position from cache to fix it. Please try to list all mentioned layers in an exclude field in template settings. If this wll not work than I'm afraid You will have to find a 3rd party cache solution.

Thanks for your reply. The minicart isnt a real problem. The checkout page has to be the one page checkout because it works a lot easier. Can you please tell me how I can add those layers so my one page checkout will work. Or maybe it is possible to exclude the complete checkout process from being cached? Thanks in advance

Hi

Sorry my mistake. An exclude field is for compression only. I'm afraid there is no way to exclude layer or page from cache, but I know programmers had updated cache plugins recently, so please try download rest_files plugin and reinstall this plugins. I hope this update has a fix for this problem. If not please looks for a different cache solution and I'll let You know when programmers will fix this issue, so You will be able to use it than.
