OK, I know this is probably a stupid question, but it has me stumped.

I don't want the article info (author, category, hits, etc) or the Read More link on the home page. But I can not get rid of them. I edited the Article Options to turn them off, I turned them off in the article itself, and I turned them all off in the menu item. They are gone on every page except the home page.

I've been using Joomla for a while, but this is my first time using a Gavickpro template. Is there a setting somewhere in the template to control that? While I'm on the subject, I am also having a very hard time setting the home page. The site is not responding like I expect it to when I select an article or K2 item for the home page. For example, I have an article with only an image that I want for the home page but when I try to use it, I get an error that the page contains no content. Very weird!

Hi,
1) have use "FEATURES" article on home page?
2) What kind of articles are you using "default joomla" or K2 ?

This question let me know why you have a problem with that.

Hi, thanks for your reply!

I tried with "Featured" on and off - it didn't seem to make a difference.

I also tried using a default Joomla article and a K2 item. Again, it didn't seem to matter.
