image show gk4 thumbs, how...

hi there.

on my site: http://www.wijnwarenhuis.be the gk image show shows images below. works fine but as soon as i DISable create thumbnails, the images are far more clearer/sharper then when i create thumbnails ? is this a bug?

i am trying to get the SAME thumbnail sizes as the VM overview, seen here:

thumb: 127 x 200

see my gk news show thumb parameters in the image.... still the thumbs on the frontpage are much bigger (and blurry).
i cleared out my cash.....

Here's the deal:
If you disable thumbnails the image will be displayed resizeable, so the quality of image it naturally be better but will be more heavy.
In other hand, if you enable thumbnails and responsive image display, thumbnails will be created but also be resizeable. So the trick is to increase thumbnails size so that resize result will have better performance.
