For some reason VM displays child products in the parent product's category view.

For example, check out this URL:
http://www[DOT]deatschwerks[DOT]com/products/fuel-pumps

You'll notice that all of the child products of DW300, DW200 and DW65c are displayed on the "Fuel Pumps" category browse page.

I found this fix on the VM forums but it doesn't work with your template override the way it's coded:
http://forum.virtuemart.net/index.php?topic=103702

Can you provide a quick fix for this? Also, I hope you guys are making headway with the VM 2.0.12 template updates/compatibility.

The file that would need to be changed is html/com_virtuemart/category/default.php

Could you switch to default template for second and check the result ? I'm asking because it gives us 100% sure that this is template not VirtueMart issue. Update to latest VirtueMart is ready - packages you will find in 'Updates' section and more details are available here >> http://www.gavick.com/magazine/developer-update-11.html

The issue still exists when I disable your "com_virtuemart" template override. So it seems like an overall VM issue. I'll post about it on the VM forums.
