I want to put my logo up but without the orange/blue/green background box around it. Even when I select 'from image' in template manager and my image has the transparent background, the overriding template color shows up as a background color. Any assistance is appreciated.

Hi

You need to use png image format with alpha-channel transparency.
If you have PhotoShop or other popular graphic editor, this just not be any problem.
Them replace images on
../images/style1/logo.png
../images/style2/logo.png
../images/style3/logo.png

Cheers

Tried that first. It just puts the template color background behind the transparent image. I'll test with a different image to verify it's not my image.

Of course if you use png with alpha transparency the template background will be displayed behind ;)
Except if add background-color on logo or if you add a different background to #gkPageTop.
