For some reason fonts are causing only half the working to show up (upper half of letters show). This only happens in Chrome and Safari browsers and it is the same issue when when I view the demo site on your server...

I attached the screen shot.

Hi,
I checked our demo on Safari 5.1 nad Chrome 21.0.1180.60 and everything is ok. I don't have any issues.

I am experiencing the same issue with Chrome (21.0.1180.83) where the Oswold font does not seem to be displaying correctly both on my site and also the Gavick Bikestore Demo site.

See the attached screenshot.

Any ideas why this would be happening?

Im not 100% sure but i think i have found a solution/cause to this.

Yesterday i downloaded the Oswald fonts to my pc (in order to use the font within a logo), it was after this that i spotted the issues with the Oswald font messing up on firefox and chrome (internet explorer was displaying them ok). I thought i would delete the font i had installed on my pc yesterday, but windows 7 would not let me delete the fonts as they said they were being used.

I restarted the machine, then i was able to delete the font. When i now view the site (and the bikestore demo) the fonts are displaying correctly on both firefox and chrome.

So it was either the pc restart, or the deletion of the font that cured the problem.

Can anyone shed any light on this? Would having the Oswald font installed on the machine effect the font display on the website?.

Thanks

Same thing for me... I downloaded the font to make some changes to the PSD files and then immediately my browsers were displaying the same thing.

Thanks for your comment, I would have gone on for hours trying to figure out how to fix it.

Do gavick staff know how to fix this without uninstalling the font?

I have same issue with chrome and I don´t think uninstalling the font should be the right approach.

Thanks in advance.

This is not an issue from the Template. I noticed the same problem, and a suggestion is to install the @font-face manually on the website and not retrieve it from google.

For the oswald, the font can be found here: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/oswald
