Hi Gavick Team,

I have install the quickstart bikestore template on my server. After that I followed the procedure is given in the link below : http://docs.joomla.org/Access_Control_L ... nd_Modules

I do that to display a differents menu items for registered and guest members.
When I enter on my website I have my mainmenu 1 (for the guest users) and then I login on it. After this action : first I haven't my mainmenu 2 appears (for the registered memebers) and two when I logout I'am redirect to an error page with this :

TPL_GK_LANG_ERROR_INFO 403
TPL_GK_LANG_ERROR_DESC
Home Page - TPL_GK_LANG_CONTACT_WEBMASTER

How can I please resolve this two issues (the mainmenu 2 doesn't appear and when I logout I have the error below).

Thanks for your precious help guys.

NB : I can't give you an access to this website because it palce on our office local network.

Please download latest template package and upload language file from template/language to root/languages/en-GB directory.

Hi,

I managed to display a differents menu for registered and non-registered. On this side everything is ok. By cons I still have the same error message when I only logout. I have enable the joomla debug and I obtain this error below (see attached picture).

For future please also check file permissions, sometimes when you overwrite files the permissions are changed and template can't read the lang file.

it was not a problem of file permissions but a problem about access statut on the mainmenu manager. My homepage was on guest access and change it to public access and all work fine after that.

I do not understand why when I put my homepage on guest level access I get the following error message TPL_GK_LANG_ERROR_INFO 403. By tale I do not have that message when I change the statut of my homepage on Public.

Do you have an idea where the problem may come from?

Did you change anything in ACL settings ? Looks like content is visible only for registered users or users with proper access level...

Hi bkrztuk,

For your information, I have only this error when I logout on my website.

I have some items menu on guest and some other item menu on registered. When I go on the frontend, all is ok I can see all my items menu on guest. After that I 'm login with my login and password. Then all is ok I can see all my items menu on registered level (but not the guest item). After, when I decided to logout and return to my guest homepage then I have this error TPL_GK_LANG_ERROR_INFO 403.

Another things. On my mainmenu I have two homepage, one for the guest users and the second to the registered users. When I go to the site without login, I have access to the first hoemapge (guest users) and when I login, I have access to the second homepage (registered users).

For information, I haven't change somethings on the ACL settings.

I you want, I can give you an access to my website.

The problem is probably related with some ACL settings, please unpublish modules one my one on the home page. Please also make sure that some article displayed on mainbody is not set to be visible only for particular user group like registered, editors etc.

Could you try to switch to default template and see whether the login is working? Maybe it is something related with Joomla! not template.

Hi,

I switch to default template and i have not the same problem. The problem comes sometimes only with gk news template.

I have encountered another problem who is when i enabled the javascript compression (on features gk news template), my homepage and all others not load fast and the popup login doesn't work. When i click on login button, i have the login page but not the dark popup login.

Hmm it looks like language file is not loaded properly in your template - please check file permissions for langauges directory and template language file or for test set it to 755. If this doesn't help you probably need to reinstall template. Did you make any changes in language file ?
