I can't figure out where this "Home" module is coming from...I checked it out of firebug and it was listed as a blog in the mainbody position, however I can't find that module. Anyways I just want to unpublish it. Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks!

This "Home module" is a com_content component which should display the featured articles (but probably you have no featured articles). If you want to remove it, you can publish any module on the mainbody module position.

Gotcha, So the template requires a module to be there? I guess I can just publish one and Hide the title...

Yes, you can use a module which now is displayed below the "Home".
