I love this clean template, however, is there a way to make it fixed width? I want it to be a certain number of pixels wide and the right column to never be below 300 px (rather than just 30 percent).

Please help. Thanks!

1. - Disable RWD in template settings.
2. Please edit: /templates/gk_gamenews/css/override.css and add at its end:
Code: Select all
#gkPage, #gkTopBar > div, .gkFooter, #gkBottom2 {width: 1000px;}

Remember to enable "CSS override" in template settings - advanced section.

Nevermind, I found it! Thanks :D

It's better, however, the main body is still shrinking when I narrow the page. Thank you.

It's still not working.... I need to make the white part of the page a fixed width of about 1100 with a 300px right column. It seems to be stuck at 920px no matter what I do..... Please help! Thank you!

I don't see your override.css - have you enabled it in template advanced settings?

Oops no I hadn't enabled it - just uploaded it. You left that part out of the instructions :D

Now it's not wrapping anymore - hooray! But the right column is still too narrow. How do I fix this? Let me try to find it again - I may have fixed it and unfixed it when I couldn't see the override changes yet.

Still can't figure it out :oops:

In fact I tried changing the override CSS to be like 1300 px just to test it and it didn't make it wider...

In template settings - layout section you can set sidebar's width.
