ad 1) Try to use PHPMyAdmin to fix database
ad 2) it's very hard to change it via PMA.

Why don't you use PHPMyAdmin to create new super admin account ? More details: http://docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_recov ... assword%3F

I think u didn't get me

1) if i have two banners for advertisement and want to display it without using custom HTML module . how could i achieve it ???

But where is problem, you can use:
1) default layout positions
2) add a new one
3) use additional modules which can add extra positions on the left and right side

Please make a image what you want... it would be easy for both of us :mrgreen:
