Ok, so last night my menu's were working perfectly. This morning, I get up and get ready to start working on my site again, and realize menu items are not showing properly. Nothing has changed since last night. You would have to see it to understand.
The site is www.perryinsider.com
The menu that is messed up is, >Community>events There is 2 sub menu's under events. 1 is "calendar" the other is "Submit Events". Calendar is cut in half, and submit events does not show at all, but is still enabled in menu manager...Once again, nothing has changed since last night.

Ok, but that makes no sense really.....As this is default gavick code.....So shouldn't gavick restructure and make sure it validates properly? Most of those errors would be hard to fix without breaking the template...And the fact it worked before, but not now is also confusing.

I went through, and got it down to 3 errors, and 2 warnings. It is working now. However, I feel since it is gavick code, they should be responsible for getting a basic template to validate. After all, they are writing it. There are still a few not validated, but I have no clue how to fix those. Mabey gavick will push a update for validation....An update that won't cause having to remake the site that is....

Also, the facebook login does not work. I have followed the guide, made the app, set app id, and secret....but when button is clicked, it does nothing, much like the button does not "send".......Seems lots of people had this problem.

Hi

Our code is validating. Please check demo site http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http% ... ne&group=0
Only one error connected with HTML5 code which this validator is not dealing well yet.

Facebook login works fine for me. Most of the problems with this option reported on forum was because of changes to facebook API and template/plugin update fixes the problem. Also yesterday I helped with 2 reports of this same issue when both doesn't have an application enabled in facebook itself.

I saw menu is ok now.

I see that it logged you into facebook, but is it not supposed to also log you into the website itself? As in, use facebook account for joomla account? If not, what is the purpose? also, the login page: http://www.perryinsider.com/joomla-page ... login.html how do I remove the "joomla-pages-ii from the url? I do not see it in the menu item....There are certainly some things I wish were different with the template. But I have no idea how to achieve them. Such as the "Login" link, make modal popup on mouse over instead of seperate page (ive seen it done with joomla), and have the "Login" button change to "logout" when a user logs in. (also seen it done with joomla).

In other words, you "News" template, when you click "Login" you get a popup box, How do I accomplish that? I do have that template, but there are several errors on install, and can't even login to admin. So I chose "Game news"......

Hi

All templates are checked so I do not understand why You have errors. Are You installing correct version for Your joomla ?

Each template is designed separately. Some has popup for login, some don't. If it's all about this function than try select one which does,

""joomla-pages-ii" is an alias in mobile menu item. Please change it there.

Facebook login uses my facebook account to log into joomla. I just have not completed it, becuase You said the problem is that nothing happens when You click it. But as You see it works for me, also in other 2 computers. So I'm not sure why isn;t it work for You.

I did manage to get the "Pop Up" for Facebook Verification, however, it never created an account like it was supposed to. I further tested with another template "News" and the Facebook login works properly. It properly generates an account and successfully logs in. Everything has been done correctly, I'm not new to Joomla, nor Gavick templates. I understand you test these templates for functionality, but please note, I found multiple problems even with "News" Template. I did point these out in the "News Template" forum, and it appears the developer "Forgot".....

Hi

I do not know why it's not working for You. Maybe the user You are trying to create has the same email address than the one which is already in user list. I've just tried and was able to log in and see informations about my account, which means user was created.
