Howdy,
I love the GameNews tamplate but the Main menu in the Mobile layout is very small. You only see it as small bars and it is quite hard to understand it is the MainMenu. The Top-/Submenu on the other hand is very visible which makes it a bit confusing. This is how the MainMenu looks like:

How can I make the MainMenu more visible so that you understand that it is a menu and the MainMenu?

I'm also missing the a Mobile Layout tab in the template manager:

Where can I change the options for the responsive layout similar to above?

Thanks,
Henrik

Responsive template don't have mobile tab because there is no special mobile version of site - this is the whole idea of 'responsive' layouts. If you want to change the graphic for menu to bigger one you can replace image in /images/tablet_menu_btn.png

Ok thanks, but is the mainmenu only supposed to be a small image with 3 small bars? Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but is that "normal procedure"?

How can I make the Mainmenu look like the Topmenu/Submenu so you see the main headlines on several rows? I can see that the div gkMainmenu change name to gkMobilemenu?

Or even better if the main Headlines in the mainmenu was placed under each other and when you click on them they expand to show subitems/-categories:
HOME [+]
TEMPLATE [+]
TYPOGRAPHY [+]
:)

Cheers,
Henrik

This is impossible in responsive view because on the smallest screens (mobile devices) sometimes even one menu item is to much in vertical mode. Without custom changes in code you can't achieve other menu view than this button with 3 small bars.

I agree with disajnmaster that noone will know that this is a menu. It really looks odd.

I am really thinking of switching back again to an old template because I get all sorts of complains about visitors not knowing where the main menu is.

Do you get more of this feedback?

No this is the first post about responsive layout menu, maybe your users don't use too many responsive sites and look for default desktop menu.
