URL Keeps adding K2 stuff

can anyone help me figure out why some of my menu items keeps adding k2-xxxx/k2-xxx/ to the menu items? i have completely removed it and its still happening. the items above the menu do not have k2 anywhere and the alias is set properly

This has been added by joomla to keep the information about the view component should open. You can get rid of it by creating links to k2 categories, so it will be replace by it's alias, but I do not know how to workaround k2-tag thihg. You should ask on K2 forum or install some SEF extesion which can rewrite links.

K2 has been entirely uninstalled. it still is happening. it has this is is even happening for main menu items in the root. for instance if you go to www.blurd.com/cbi2 and click the blog menu item. if you click it goes http://blurd.com/cbi2/k2-tags/blog which shouldnt happen. if you go to what it should be which is http://blurd.com/cbi2/blog you get a 404. there are no menu items anywhere that have k2 setup or a link to a k2 article or category...

Ok. For start make sure You have created new menu items and not and not renamed the one which were there. If probelm will persist push a rebuild button in menu manager. If above will not work send me an access to joomla panel.
