HI

I'm having an odd problem I've never seen before and running out of ideas on how to fix it.

http://andrews.net.au/school/

When I show this page on Chrome, FF is displays perfectly. However, when it is opened in Internet Explorer (v9) it is rendering as a mobile device.

Anyone seen this before or have any ideas to solve it?

Hi

That's odd. I see that not all styles are loaded properly. I've seen such problem before when css files were differently encoded. I'm not sure if it's the case now, but just to start please encode all files You've modified to utf-8. If this will not help I'll send this issue to programmers.

Found it.

I tried all kinds of things, installed a previous back up and it was working.

On the existing site I installed GK-Startup, GK-Publisher and they both broke in the same way.

After spending the entire afternoon switching things on and off, I think I can confirm what is happening.

Yootheme widgetkit breaks GK Templates.

Soon as I uninstalled it, everything was fine.

Yeah, not what I was expecting either. Can you please let me know if there is a fix for this coming up. I'm not a big user of widgetkit, but a couple of nice tool that suit my clients. Between Gavick and Widget kit, I'll go Gavick anyday, but having both would be cool.

Cheers!

Hi

Unfortunately I'm not sure if anyone will be working on this compatibility. There are millions of 3rd party extensions and we simply cannot make it for all. I do not know widgetkit so good either. But if it was a conflict than maybe it can be just fixed by disabling mootools or jquery (do not know which this one is using) on a page where it's placed. Please try that.
