As seen in the image attached I would like to have the website stop scrolling down when it reahces the box where "copyright ... info" is present.

As it is now it continues further down, showing the background of the template, appr. 100 pixels. I do not want this.

Is there a way to solve this issue :?:

The problem is that the website is not yet live.

Can I send you login info by some private message method?

Hi NormanUK, I sent last week an email to you. Have you had a chance to look at it and find a solution yet?

Hi Norman - I have a 4-tier problem with the Sporter 2.5 Template we bought. (sorry for all the issues, but my deadline is for Monday) Firstly, when displacing the K2 articles in News Show Pro GK4 with Joomla! Articles - the programme throws out the images, does not want to open the link and the navigation bar jumps to the right-hand corner.

Secondly the front slider in IE does not make all the featured articles appear when you click on "More News" Firefox is fine!?

Thirdly - how do I remove the bottom three template links ?

And lastly! The background image appears in Firefox but not in IE

Sorry for the string of issues once more

Louis

Hi Louis,

1. Regarding K2 Articles with Joomla Articles in News Show Pro;

Please explain in more detail as you cannot use both K2 and Joomla articles in single module together.

2. In IE9 it shows fine, which IE are you testing with?

3. If you mean style colour option at the bottom, you can disable them in template settings.

Joomla Admin > Extensions > Template Manager > gk_league_news_default > Features > Footer Elements > Style Switcher = "off".

4. In IE9 background image shows fine in my testing. Which IE did you test with.

Hi Norman thanks for the reply

I test in IE8 (this is Africa you know)

Thanks for clearing out my Point No.3

On my main issue: I dont want to use K2 articles with Joomla Articles - I worked off the League News template but the client does not want blogging on some of his main articles so I had to create Joomla Articles and had to change in my Module from K2 Articles to a different category to accommodate Joomla Articles

Does this make sense? Did you browse the site (could you see that even the navigation jumped to the right-hand page)

First lets fix the js issue on ie8.
Backup following file: joomla root /media/system/js/mootools-core.js
Rename it to mootools-core.js.old
Replace it with attached js file and please check if clicking on more news works or not.

Regarding your joomla articles and news show pro module, please send me an admin access in your demo website to my email.

Include following;
Joomla Categories where you want to pull articles from...
If images needed I will use demo images so you can replace them later.

See you around...

Hi bkrztuk - no (havent heard of him for the pass 3 days) there is still a problem with the navigation bar appearing top right and by using Flipping Books I mistakenly deleted unused folders - wiping out almost my whole Media Manager - can you please re-create the folders that GK News need to show Joomla images or send me a screenshot of how the Media Manager's subfolders were setup initially so that I can do it myself

Sorry but re-creating directories is beyond our support. You can run quickstart package on localhost and just copy files again or restore site from backup (if you have copies). Please show me on screen problem with this navigation area.

Solution found.

Go to the file: templates/gk_gamenews/css/template.css
Go to Line 550 (under Class .gkFooter) and change line margin: 0 auto 100px auto; to margin: 0 auto 0px auto;

It depends what you mean by removing bottom area of template - disable elements visible there or delete whole margin. If you want to delete margin, yes this code is correct. For future please give us more details or attach screenshot with marked part that you want to remove.
