error gk_gamenews_quickstart_J! 25.zip and k2

I installed after downloading the file gk_gamenews_quickstart_J! 25.zip and k2 enter the menu I get the following error.
"Creating default object from empty value in /..../htdocs/...../administrator/components/com_k2/"
Is not it due?
What is the solution?

Please try to download K2 from official site (http://getk2.org/) and install again. Probably something goes wrong during installation process and some files are missed.

It's the first thing I did.
And I went to install from scratch and still gives the same error.
Also install joomla 2.5, then the template, then k2 and the same.

Some solution.
Can you download the package I wrong?

Everything is working fine. Do you have any possibility to test it on localhost ?

The problem is the php version 5.4.7 on my server.
In another version leaves no error.
This error occurs in the screen that showed me, but upon entering any article k2.
You will see solution for that version, or should I downgrade to 5.2? with that version if it goes well, but I need for other features the 5.4

Recommended for Joomla! version of PHP is 5.3+ so the 5.4 should not cause problems but maybe K2 is incompatible. For sure that the problem is not with our product could you change template to 'beez' and check results ?
