My user menu was acting quite strange when logged in. When I would log in, I would get a duplicate User Menu immediately to the left of the normal one.

However, now as you can see, the User Menu has completely taken over my Main Menu as well. Please help, this is a very troublesome issue...

My website is: http://www.praetorian-legion.com

Okay, now my Main Menu has disappeared completely, yet I still see it as published. All I've done is login to the website using the "Log in" button in the upper right and now everything is kaput.

Please help.

Okay, I fixed the duplication issue. It was because both the User Menu and User Area modules were both enabled. So when a user logged in, it would duplicate the User Menu.

However, is there a way to have the Log In button, change to My Account like the Gavick Pro site? I would like it to work like this: User logs in, Log In button changes to My Account, when user hovers over My Account a drop down menu is displayed with My Profile, Edit Profile, and Logout.

Thank you in advance for any assistance you can offer.

There is a tutorial on the joomla site on how to setup "Guest" groups and "Guest" viewing rights. I followed this tutorial and it allows you to control which groups have viewing rights of menus and menu items when they are logged in or not logged in. I sure hope this helps.
