problem with responsive images in gknews

when I put an image in a k2 item and display in gknews module when the responisve images is on the verison of the images that is linked to is distorted and resized badly.

That doesn't have anything to do with News Show Pro GK4 module.
That's from K2 definitions and from the your original image size.
There are different K2 images sizes to define (small, medium, large and so on) on the component settings. Naturally the original image must be at least the same size of the larger size set on K2 or else, the quality of thumbnail will be not good. Also, if i recall well, there's the ability to set image quality in %. You should check it out this also.

Here's what i always do. My original image size is always bigger comparing to the different size set on K2. This way i will insure sufficient quality.

Another thing that you must have in consideration with K2. If you have set some specific size on some K2 layout, them change to a different size on settings, you need to delete that image on article and re-upload.

Again, that's nothing to do with us.

I have checked the settings and I cant't work out how I make the image which appears in the gk news bigger- now when I click on the image the second version is not distorted but the first image is really small and I do not know were to go to chnage it

please see lego team workign on a raspberry pi- that is the image i want larger in the front page.

That image is a thumbnail generated by News Show Pro module using K2 first image.
You can change settings for thumbnails on NSP module parameters > thumbnails.

You can follow this page on our wiki that explains the settings on NSP.
It's not updated with some new features added on last version, but the basic is there.
