I have used the options in K2 to turn off comments and nor allow the avatar to show and yet it just keeps coming back!

Also I have publish more than three artivles in the news show in the horizonatal postion and for a short while all three appear and then one disspears and does not return.
Please can you advise.

From what i can see on your page, comments form are not there.
About author avatar, you can disable on the K2 parameters, but you need to need to understand that the settings are made in K2 hierarchy. So your configuration can be done in the global component settings, but these same settings can be overruled in either categories or item individual settings.
So please check on the category settings of this item or even on the item itself.
About the issue of News Show Pro GK4 module, on which one?
