Issues in IE9

On the FEST Template the countdown is not working. When loaded in IE the countdown is vertical and not counting down. Can anyone give me any insight on how to fix this

On the demo site it just says counting finished. I believe that it is a javascript error when loading the page. But like I said it works when changing what view of IE its in (Originally starting in IE 9). It's also worth noting that it works fine on IE 10
