Used latest template quickstart, K2 issue

I know that K2 isn't your product, but I downloaded and installed your fest template, and under the k2 plugin, I am not able to add images to an item. I can browse to the image, select it, and when I try to save the item, the image does not get saved. Looking at the k2 site, it seems like this is normally caused by a plugin conflict. Since this was a quickstart install, and I haven't loaded any plugins on the site, do you have any ideas?

It might me a permission issue. You should check if "apache" user (the user that is used to run scripts) can write to folders where images are stored. If not - then You should change permissions to that folder.
