Removing sponsors and bottom columns

Hi,

After I removed the sponsors and the bottom columns from the template (using module manager) now i have a new section showing below the speakers. It says "Home" and has one of my test posts and some of demo articles now. I don't have my site live yet, here's a screen shot: http://www.ambientcamping.com/pics/festhome.png I would like to know how to remove this section.

I'm afraid you need to populate mainbody position with some module or else (in this framework) the component will be displayed on frontpage.
