"Speakers" not displaying

Hi guys,
I'm sure I'm doing something stupid but I can't figure this out:
I've followed the instructions in https://www.gavick.com/blog/change-cust ... fest-theme and renamed the 2 files as well, and re-saved permalinks too (My "speakers" are now "Attractions") ... but the actual posts aren't showing up in the widget!

What could I have done wrong? There are only 4 posts loaded under Attractions so far.

Once I've sorted that out, I also need to work out how to change the <title> of the home page! Is that do-able?

Hi,

I can't see your website:
"Error establishing a database connection"

but if you have only 4 posts, the spekaers widget won't be visible and work properly. Please check this article:

You need at least 6 speakers.

Regarding the title, please check Fest -> Template Options -> SEO tab, here you can change the titles and other basic seo settings.

You should be able to see the site fine, I've checked it from a few locations (admittedly all from within South Africa)

Could you please provide me with a URL to your website and back-end access via PM (click the “Private Message” text underneath my avatar) so that I may analyze it?

3 of all your 6 posts (attractions) are in attractions category and 3 are in News category.
In you widget (GK Speakers) settings you have set attractions category, so the widget can see only 3 posts you should have at least 5.

I've added your post to attractions category and it works properly.

That's so embarrassing - thanks so much for your help tho!
