Just getting the home page like the demo?

Are there some simple instructions somewhere that I have missed for creating a home page as in your demo? That's all I want right now. :/

Instead I have breadcrumbs and a light background and an inaccurate countdown. I would love to get something right.

Okay, I am making some progress... the countdown area has to do with WIDGETS. Ah, elementary eh?

But I would still like to remove the social media icons and breadcrumbs on this page... and get the counter right.

If you want to match the demo layout and content exactly then the best option is to use the quickstart package; this is a full WordPress installation that installs WordPress, the theme, plugins, widgets and demo content to match our demo. If you cannot use the quickstart package then you will need to install the standalone theme package and manually place and configure the widgets according to our documentation.

The social media icons are a widget from Social widget area - please remove it. What's the problem exactly with the countdown?
