Child theme for Fest doesn't work

I've installed the Fest theme, but the included Child theme doesn't work? How come is that?

When I try to override something, nothing happens. I only used the included Child Theme without adding new files or change any of the existing ones, could that be it? Should I add something to the Child Theme?

If you want to override file, you should copy it into Child theme and modify, but please remember to keep the same directory structure.

If you i.e. want to modify Fest/css/tablet.css file, please create css directory in your Fest-child then copy tablet.css file there and add your modifications, if that won't work, please send me a PM with backend and FTP access to your website, then I'll be able to check the issue exactly.

I think there's something wrong with the included Child theme, 'cause nothings happens... one of my friends have spend some time trying to figure out what's wrong, but he can't find the source of the problem either. So it would be reeeeally nice if you couldn't take a look at it. I'll send you a PM right away.
