Hello,

I was wondering how/where I could change the guitar on the header animation.
I looked on the forums and couldn't find anything related to changing the actual image.

I explored the stuff.css file and the style.css file but no gk-guitar class to be found.

Could you point me in the right direction please?

Thanks a bunch for these themes... A bit unconventional use of widgets, but you get used to it :)

Hello,

CSS is placed in extensions.css file:

Code: Select all
.gk-animation .gk-guitar {
   background: transparent url('../images/guitar.png') no-repeat 0 0;
   height: 419px;
   position: absolute;
   right: 0;
   text-indent: -9999px;
   top: 30px;
   width: 187px;
   z-index: 2;
}

you can replace Fest/images/guitar.pnp file or add this code into override.css file:

Code: Select all
.gk-animation .gk-guitar {
   background-image: url('../images/guitar.png');
}

Bumping this back up. I'm looking to replace the guitar with a completely new image. I'm running a wrestling convention and I'd like to change the guitar to a championship belt. I had the link in extensions.css changed to point to my belt image. I created a transparent background *.png image in photoshop, but it showed up with a big white background when I changed extensions.css

Any words of wisdom?

Hello @robproc,

Could you please provide me with a URL to your website, either here or via PM (click the “Private Message” text underneath my avatar) so that I may analyze it? It is a lot easier for us to diagnose issues when we have a live site to examine.

I have it on a localhost right now. I could post a screenshot here if that would be helpful?

So my problem is that I've added the suggested code to the extension file, or changed what was there to point to the image I want.
I've added it to the override file.

And it's still not there because under widgets> header> text where all the gk animation for the world map, the countdown and stuff is, I had removed the original code talking about the guitar. I know so smart right?

Anyway, didn't think I'd ever have use for it, and now I do, and I can't get that code back soooo what was that code again?

Add the following code into the theme’s css/override.css file (make sure to enable the “Use the override.css file” option in Template options > Advanced in the WordPress backend)

Code: Select all
.gk-animation .gk-guitar {
   width: 500px;
}

but generally your image is too big I think.
