Select which speakers show on home page

Hi

Is it possible to select a number of speakers out of all the speakers to show on home page? So all speakers on the speakers page but a selection of those speakers on the home page for that event.

I have tried a fee different options including creating a new category 'homepage speakers' (and updating widget to this category} and ticking category boxes for both categories for each speaker I require but that didnt work as I thought it would.

Hello,

Are you sure, that you've created new speakers category? Because it's possible to create another category add new speakers to this category, and use this new category slug in the widget configuration. I've checked and it works properly.

I added new category from within the DJ section 'Next Event DJ's' with slug 'next-event-djs'.
Selected the DJ's for the home page event by using the checkbox under the DJ pages so now some are in 2 categories (main and next event)
Updated the widget to 'next-event-djs'

Is this right?
On the home page the heading shows but the circles and images are missing.
