Setting up the counter?

Can someone point me to instructions that outline specifically how to set up the counter?

I've also now tried to do the quick install with content and that too is failing - I've used Wordpress loads of times and never have had such issues installing and setting up a theme.

By other posts it seems like everyone has issues setting it up.

And it ;looks like there's a lot of coding to be done not just dashboard settings.

Would have been good knowing that before purchasing.

No, it doesn't require any coding, Quickstart installation is very easy, did you follow this tutorial?

Remember, that you can't install a quickstart on existing wordpress intallation - quickstart is a wordpress 3.8 instance with our theme, content and configuration included.

you have to change contend of text widget to change the configuration.
