Speaker Posts appearing on Home page

Hi -
I've figured out the speaker widget/slug issue, but the problem is, I'm creating a post for each speaker using the "speakers" category slug so it'll populate the speaker widget.

The problem with that is that each speaker post ends up coming up underneath my animated header. I want to hide or move those posts elsewhere so my front page will be static like the demo. Switching to "static" front page disables the speaker widget and header animations.

How do I put those posts else where so they don't show up on my home page.

You should enable this option: "Widgets Display on Homepage" from Fest -> Template Options -> Basic tab.
