Header Counter and Title

Hi,
I've got your quick start package running on my server.
I followed the steps in http://demo.gavick.com/wordpress/fest/?p=918
in order to change the end date and time of the counter, however it is still not clear to me where should I edit it. Only entry concerning endtime and enddate I found was directly in the database, wp-options - in the same row as the entry "widget_text" is. Is this the right way to edit it?

Hi - Like I said I'm a newbie to Wordpress and I'd like to change the orange color of the time of the counter, the orange background under Sponsors, Register button hover background color, top submenu hover background color, and the footer menu links font color on the home page and I'm having trouble doing that. Help!

top menu currently doesn't have background change on hover in submenus.

Remember to enable "Use the override.css file" in theme settings (item in admin menu, under comments section, advanced tab).
